Which documents have I shared and when does the link expire?-Synology NAS

If you have shared folders, documents or private links with others, you might want to know when they expire.

It is very simple to do. Log in your DSM, open File Station and click on “Tools”:

navigate

Then click on “Shared link manager”:

shared

and voila! you have the list there of everything you have shared. You will have also the possibility to:

  1. Edit: for example, change the expiration date
  2. Delete: disallow for sharing
  3. Share: Share again
  4. Clear invalid links: remove broken and expired links

shared

Enjoy!

    1. Hi Ben,

For this to work, you need to be able to access your files from the internet.
Here is a post on how to share files one time:

Here is a post on how to access your synology on the internet with quick connect (no open ports required):

and finally, which ports you need to open on your router if you don’t want to use quickconnect:

      Hope this helps,
